Protection Coverage on your move
"The household goods moving industry is regulated by the Public Utilities Commission in the State of California. Coverage on your possessions is set forth in law by the Public Utilities Commission in the MAX 4 Tariff."
Basic Coverage ( 60 cents per pound per article)
The hourly rate includes basic coverage at no charge to the shipper. This option provides recovery for lost or damaged item(s) based on 60 cents times the weight of item(s). You can check your home-owner's or rental insurance policy. The carrier reserves the right to inspect and /or repair damage.
Actual Cash Value
This option provides for recovery for lost or damaged items based on actual cash value ( depreciated value) at the time of lost or damage, up to the total dollar amount of value declared by you. The carrier reserves the right to inspect and /or repair damage.
This coverage charge is: $0.95 per $100 (minimum value $5000)
Full Value
Full Value protection is not available through our company at this time. We carry General Liability insurance for property damage.
